In the field of research and development ACE&CS Ltd offers solutions to special problems of basic research, applied research and assistance in development of new products and technologies.
Within basic research the company develops or improves material models to model deformable body behaviour, fluid flow, various engineering processes and technologies using the finite element method (FEM) and discrete element method (MDP).
Within applied research the company uses the above models, which are implemented in its own software, or other material models, which are implemented in some commercial software which the company hires, to solve, study and optimize various constructions, structures, processes and technologies coming from engineering practice.
