2. 11. 2015. Three PhD. positions are available at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava

The first position is about developing a material model to model non-Newtonian fluid behaviour using an improved Eulerian formulation for large strains.

The second position is about developing a hyperelastic-based multiplicative plasticity model materials using an improved multiplicative decomposition of a deformation gradient into an elastic part, a plastic part and a thermal part.

The third position is about developing a material model to model creep deformation of titan-aluminium (TiAL) intermetallic alloy using an improved additive decomposition of a strain rate tensor into an elastic part, a plastic part and a thermal part.

15. 11. 2015. Two PhD. positions are available at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava

The first position is about developing a material model to model metallic material behaviour at high strain rates with ductile-to-brittle failure mode transition.

The second position is about developing an improved material model for coupled thermal-structural analyses using large strain formulation with an improved additive decomposition of a strain rate tensor into an elastic part, a plastic part and a thermal part.
